Frequently Asked Questions

 What do I do if my son has lost property?

We highly recommend parents either sew a name label or write your son's name on the existing label in indelible ink. If property has been lost there is a lost property store in the general office.

 Can I take my son out of school for a holiday?

It is now government policy for schools and academies not to allow holidays in term time.

 Can my son have swimming lessons?

At The De La Salle Academy we are lucky to have our own pool, as such we offer all students swimming lessons.

 Can my son learn a musical instrument?

Our music department allows students to learn a variety of instruments and singing. If your son is interested in this he can register with the music department.

 What should I do if my son is too ill to attend school?

For unplanned absences please ring the Academy on 0151 546 3134 and select the appropriate menu option for student absence. A note, explaining the reason for the absence, should accompany your son on their return.
